APATHY

I think
at
Some point
We live in
A state
Of apathy
The love
Given
Is quickly
Taken
Away
I miss you
I adored
You
I took
Advantage
Of
The
Love
You
Had
For
Your
Son
I have
Regrets
I feel
Remorse
I am
In
Mourning
And
I am
Not
Sure
If
I
Will
Ever
Leave
This
State
Comforting
Words
Mean
Nothing
A lot
Of
Despair
Going
On
I guess
I live
Now
For
My
Offspring
My example
Though
Will
Never
Equal

" I am, sure there is ? " SOMEWHERE.

Great work Greg! I could feel a lot of emotion in this piece. I like the format, it was quick and easy to read. I could feel a sense of pain within the lines -- a longing to be reconnected, loved, appreciated, accepted...all the things our partners do for us when things are working out. Great job again.
than you Katrina. It is about my Dad who died a few months ago. I am going through a hard time of it. Appreciate your kind words
An outpouring of emotion here! You get to the heart of grief well.
I am sorry you lost your dad, Greg. It is very hard losing a parent or both parents. There is no time limit on grief...and there is no right way or wrong way to grieve. I never met your father, obviously, but I am sure that you made him proud. The love you have for your own kids? I am pretty sure he had that same love for you. Take care,
And Happy Easter ?? x
Thank you. If you get a chance could you read its personal and living behind a mssk
