APPOINTMENT WITH DEATH

Nobody knows when they are going to die
They won't know for sure however hard they try
Uncertain on what the last word will be
Unsure on what the last thing to see

Nobody knows what will happen when we die
Burnt to ashes or in a coffin to lay back and lie
Not knowing when you'll take your last breath
One thing certain that life is followed by death

If you are like me and grateful for the living day
Don't think of death it will happen anyway
For me it will be just treated like a long rest
Knowing on earth that I always did my best
