ARE WE IN TROUBLE?
Tom the commercials are almost as long as the show...
Presidential candidates make fun of one another...
Ben wars are going on...
Blood and tears all around...
Presidential candidates making fun of the people...
Calling us names...
Tom there is so much suffering going on...
We have to have commercials over and over again on who said what and who did what...
Then we get to hear it all over the news for months...
Ben do we really have the audacity to ask...
What is wrong with the people?
Why is there so much negativity all around...
Tom the adults that are trying to run this country...
Is this the example?
Is it a sample?
Are we in trouble?

How much is any of it actually the truth?

Today, someone shared this short, silly video with me about the longest murder in history... (a short satirical film by Richard Greer where a man is beaten and hounded by someone with a spoon) It was truly a disturbing short, but it made me think of the media and how we are being beaten down, stalked and hounded to death. Allegory at its finest. And your WRITE is RIGHT on. :)

I know the simple thing is not read or simply change the channel...
It's important to know the importance of some of the things going on that does effect us...
However, the media takes things to a weird area...
How much someone pays for underwear, how much jewelry they have, who they're marrying and divorcing, where they were having dinner...
Those things don't effect me and it's none of my business...
It serves no purpose...
I am actually surprised they don't announce the size of the underwear that was purchased...
I guess they know there are certain lines that shouldn't be crossed?
There's probably alot more privacy people are entitled too...
If it effects a major choice that needs to be made that's very important information we need to have...
