Arrogance

God be exalted

This world is lacking humility
Power and control is all you see
Anger and manipulation are the fruit
Of this cold and selfish disease
Everywhere you go, someone's there
Who feels like they are better than you
And treats you like the bottom of a shoe
Always telling you what to do
Criticizing who you are or what you say
Don't do it like that, say it like this
Getting so mad they nearly spit
Why do you think it is
That they feel better than you
Did someone yell at them too
Always telling them what to do
Chaos is the only reward 
For always exalting your self above another
Satan tried exalting himself too
If you can believe it, above our Lord
To exalt yourself above your brother
Is not of God
To be like christ is what we must do
Walking in humility and serving others too
By putting them first, loving like a brother
the spirit of humility I barely see
A kind heart who helps when your in need
A person who sees that equality is real truth
No one is greater than another
We are all sisters and brothers
