Two hearts divided
until the anger subsided.
Many tears shed alone, as she laid in bed.
The disagreement not settled;
but by morning both disheveled.
They looked into each other's eyes -
reddened from exhaustion;
their minds abscised.
Their focus unbroken, their love unspoken.
His arms parted, his hand reaching hers.
Wrapping around her tightly;
no other love like theirs.
She melts within his grip.
No apologies shared, nor guilt trip.
Never go to bed angry,
tomorrow may be to late.
And that constation would have been your last date.
Always say "I love you",
this I know is true.
You want those to be
the last words shared.
In the event tomorrow never comes;
all you're left with is despair.
