Ashamed World

Heartless and cold 
Our lives morph to the stories that we were told 
Experience gained, as we get old
Corrupted souls to the devil they were sold 
Impatiently waiting for there story entitled life to unfold
Unaware the power of salvation can hold
Give in to the power of God, he has already lightened the load
Faithful and patient, waiting for  the power we behold
Superior qualities chosen as we were placed in the mold
Ashamed to live in the world, where life is beneath gold
