Ashes To Ashes, Dost To Dost

Ashes To Ashes, Dost To Dost

Thou dost know me too well, causing a mope,
sometimes methinks everything's beyond hope;Β
we don't need maudlin, there's really enough to bare,
however, the last time I looked, it was still there.

Now, those ashes were always in Shane's hands,
the spin doctor weaved his magic in many lands,
when work was done, he could get into the beers,
knowing that he'd always been way above his peers.

My doctor is watching England struggle in Carribean,
after he prescribed, said they won't get the 'runs' again;
we're all tossing balls in the air, seeing where they fall,
hopefully, their resting place will really satisfy us all.

That's it, happiness will lift, take you where you wish to go,
no more moping - realization, enlightenment, before you know.
