Assumptions

Assumptions

I felt like being brave
I wanted to be like you
But everything went wrong
Quite obviously on cue

I was happy, I was free
But as always it took over me

You all looked and laughed some of you gasped
Stood and pointed and even laughed

You thought I was pissed
That I wouldn’t be missed
You thought I took drugs
That I won’t need hugs

When I really needed you
You didn’t form a cue
So 1 thing I’m proud of
Is that I’m not like you
