My Sister 💜

I have a sister
Well really I have 2
They look and sound the same 
They were even born together

I know them both quite well
But they do not know eachother

1 of them is fun
She’s chatty and energetic 
But the others the opposite 
Distant, quiet, lethargic 

My sister is my sister 
But also my best friend 
The other is my sister
But we do not get on well

She creeps in very slowly 
Like a shadow in the night
Taking all our happiness 
Stealing all our light 

She sits behind my sister
Waiting for her moment 
Then jumps in very quickly 
Controlling all her functions 

My sister try’s to fight it
To keep the pain away 
But no matter what she try’s 
She always finds a way 

My sisters very strong 
She fights her everyday 
But her fight may be in vain 
As the demons here to stay 

I pray for her everyday 
That the illness will go away 
But the illness is getting stronger 
And stronger everyday….
