Poem -

Asthma Lamp

I “walked out of heaven” and haloed hell. The pain scrapes
The castle; and I ponder your ghost. Have I thrown life
Away? Earth is but a journey; and life—a cryptic sign;
And I remember passion—a silent force; and so vocal—my

Thoughts; and such is sorrow: a path of strings: a vague
Guitar; and every pixel—a picture faint; and only love—a
Mother’s joy. I fathom phantoms—adrift the mind; and felt
The love—a Buddhist queen. But life is faint—a tipping

Toe; and life is bold—a woman’s voice. My precious swan—
The heart is green; and feral waves—inject the soul. We
Paint and prance and play and fly; and love is tense—a
Breaking sky. Forgive the death—and learn to see—a
Diamond wave—an almond glee; and live the mind—a shaman
Vase; and drive the soul—a pulse apace.
