Mindset is everything

An attitude of gratitude is all that I need,
to rise above all passed hardships and finally succeed.
To be grateful for my heartbeat to the clothes on my back,
to go forward without fear and to never look back.

What have I learnt from the days thats gone by?
I sat alone for to long and did nothing but cry,
as I wept in dispair not knowing where to turn,
somehow a spark inside of me started to burn.
It got bigger and bigger and soon was a flame.
From that day forward i was never the same.

No longer would i anguish for the things i could not control.
I became very grateful for not being alone,
I have a husband and children and a home of our own,
they are the heart of my heartbeat that keeps me going.

I  walk in the sunshine and feel the fresh breeze on my face,
I take in my surroundings, what a beautiful place.
Mother earth has spoilt us with such magnificent sights,
I just opened my heart and my senses took flight.

My eyes are overwhelmed with the beauty i see,
from a leaf on a oak tree to a hard working bee.
Gratitiude is a magic most people dont understand,
because happiness and gratitude goes hand in hand.
 
You can not have one without the other,
it is an impossible task.
You can try for awhile but it will only  be a mask.
Open your heart ,and let gratitude in.
There is no other out come, you can only win!

You will soon feel the arms of love, laughter and light,
surround your heart, mind and body,
such a beautiful sight,
I felt my soul open up like a beautiful rose,
everything i needed had been right under my nose.

I have let go of my troubles my heartbreaks and trife,
I am truely grateful to be a mother and wife.
I am so grateful for each day that I can put my feet on the ground,
and to be grateful for the new me that I have finally found.

So come now and lishen and here what i say,
unless you are grateful there is no other way.
You will need to say thank you for the breath that you take,
for the hands that you use, to prepare the meal that you make.

The more you are grateful for, the more you will get, 
there is no life to live  while crippled with fear and regret.
so go now be free and reach for the sky
and never again should you ask yourself " why?"
your heartbeat is strong and vibrant so bright,
your life now awaits you ,go now take flight.
