Atypical

Atypical

I think
I am
Atypical

I never seem
to
fit
in a box

My pant size
is abnormal
foot size
needs
to
be customized

I learn
read
and perform
in a manner
that fits
outside
the norm

Yesterday
a critic
told
me
he
likes
my
ink
but
the
formatting
is
strange

it
is
atypical

I guess
he
is
right

No cookie
boxcutter
poetry
for
me

I write
the way
I write

and

though
I may be
atypical
I am
also
guilty
of being
original
