Autumn Breezes A Winter Chill

The last leaf pedal
Slowly twirls in a waltz
As it falls from a barron cedar tree,
Looking real close
One leaf point waves goodbye before
It's swept up by a chilly December breeze,
Some may refuse the sky offerings
Of cold rain sleet and snow
Running after
To capture
That brown crumbly leaf,
But the inevitability and farewell nod
Is prompt for future sake
To just let it go.
