Autumn's Yearning
Come calling Autumn of my dreams, and let lie the summer of my discontent. I am in the dream of my light, on a cold winter night, to see you in the light of my life. Come calling my dream of winter, and let me see you in the prose of my life, as winter calls, I dream of you, in the dream that is winter's all. I am calling you old orange and yellow, and I find you warm to the touch, as falling drifts and endless winds come calling you so much. I am falling, I am steady upon the leaves of a night in summer to say, that the pile leaves within the seas call me to Heaven's nights. Endless winter, come to me, and find me in the drift of your snow, to tell me something of winter's story, that of old and of winter's bold belief in you. In the story that is new, I find a slew of winter's dew, upon the endless drift of a mornings brew. Believe in me, oh winter's call that sky is yearning to tell all, and in a tale of your subsiding death, may you learn that winter comes to be born again, for I am burned, by a new Autumn day.
