Rose upon a Night

Upon the sandy shores of time, I find the wisdom to ask of thee to deliver me from the illusions of this world.

I am but a new vision to thee and to see me anew, is to see me askew, in the vision that is mine.

I am wasted upon the seas, naked upon the fields, and as time passes through my hands, the tears swell in my eyes.

With each passing moment, sadness sweeps upon my ocean and daunting is the task of writing each tiny moment with my hands. 

It is with sorrow that I waste each breathe with a contempt that is to pass, and I fill my heart with gladness at the joy I find in my tasks. 

Find me now, O Beloved, and take me far away towards the clouds that call upon my name.

I am asleep in my love for you and in my awakening, I find that thy requirements are steep and hard.

I call upon you and to stay and find my love absent upon the chains of my heart.

Deliver me upon satin sheets of red roses in the mist of the oceans that call upon me to deliver to thee, my rose upon a night.
