Poem -

Awaiting the rising moon.

Amongst the trees
that gently sway
Upon a sparkling
summers day
A melody ringing true
and fair
Sweetest song's
these love birds bare
Serenading
Awaiting the rising moon
Moments
After the fading sun
Had sleepily lay down
It's head
In tender song
Beneath the stars
As all of gods children
Are tucked away in bed
Love birds serenading
Into the night
A peaceful song
Until morning light.
