Awareness Unknown
You'll never completely find yourself if you don't get lost, likewise finding yourself without someone is just as...
Awareness unknown.
With a single touch I awaken,
with goosebumps bringing tears into the armour I wear.
Breezes sweeping me off my feet into flight, I'm taken away,
to a world unknown, time passing, heartbeat racing, temperature changing.
With a single word I seem to exist,
My charcharacter, my color, my thoughts in one name.
Temptations that I deny, what’s good or bad? What to accept or resist behind a truth or a lie.
Who will I be then if not for a moment someone you see,
My claim to fame, as I'm but a whisper of that name, at that time.
I register being alive, as my eyes takes in my surroundings,
Like burning fireflies on blue clouded skies,
Sapphires gleaming and glowing, ever watching, ever growing.
Are these you're wide eyes sparkling blue fireflies?
Strawberry soft lips brushing gently against mine,
With a rounded hand, placing tention upon the wall separating my hips and the sands of time.
For how long will I have the touch of those lips and will they always be mine.
Remembering the smell of the sun shining and that of falling rain,
running down my ears from your mind to the messages of my brain.
I feel myself being as one, only when I’m with you.
The ragdoll you made, unearthed, unmatched, unchained.
Your compulsion achieved to my heartbeat, a miracle concieved to my being,
Bringing back to life what I missed,
With a touch of a kiss, helping awareness back to who I am.
Perfectly moulded as you wanted with your will using a simple kiss, your command,
Left only to my senses as reality sets in... I regester, with my fingers to my lips... and yours being gone.
With a single touch I awaken,
Still at home, still alone, still unknown.

After 5 years this poem is special to me in many ways anyone can relate to 1, its based on a true event in my life 2, one day love will wake me up to how life should be again instead of being home, alone or unknown ever again, thinking this is how life works. He will wake me up to the truth obout the simplicity of serenity.
