Ayyappan & Koshi

Why we love to hate our Self

Ayyappan & Koshi

(first ruminations)

Women exist in the thin wedge between man and God,

men exist in that between woman and the Earth.

Both need to get out of each other's way by getting in The Way.

Ea was not able to kill Apsu, nor Teshub Kamurabi.

The Greeks were deluded to think that Cronus could take out Uranus.

Jacob had the right idea:

Do whatever it takes to squeeze good out of the fated relationship you have with Life

(an illogical scenario you neither chose nor can you escape from it).

But here is wisdom, do your wrestling away from the Family Home!

II  (second ruminations)

Those Messianics sure can be an arrogant lot

Especially on the soil of an older cousin

Jacob let Harran remain his grandfather's ancestral land

Doesn't Cochin realise his host deserves conservation

What we appear to have is a second Canaan, hidden in plain sight

How long will the standoff with Trivandrum last?

I fear the steam will bust this open

And I pray for a Spirit of Reconciliation before its too late

Does Pamba hold the key?

And what do we do with the Samaritans...

Will they stay put at Vavar's shrine encircled

(Mapilla fish caught in a net for whose banquet)?
