Can you hear me when I’m calling your name the one that people promised they wouldn’t forget 
 can you hear me when I sing because every note that comes out of my mouth reaches for you can you hear me

You weren’t supposed to leaving this world so early but the actions of a man with a gun said so otherwise and the devil that was on his shoulder 
And that day he spared his life and not yours because if he didn’t die someone had to and it was far to late to prevent it 
Things we can’t predict in this world so happen to be the worst 
But we can choice to listen to the voices that need to be heard but we become shy 
We did not know that man had so much hurt in his heart that made him want to hurt someone or himself we did not know his name until he forced us to hear it 
We did not know he wanted to die until he quietly said sorry, pulled the trigger and showed us
