Back to Nature

We're told it's natural for a man to hit a woman
We're told it's natural to be born in the wrong body
We're told it's natural for our genes to set our fate
We're told it's never too early and yet it's much too late

When my hormones switched on I heard it for the first time
It was my song and it didn't rhyme with their fodder
My horns are itching to knock down the gates
Smell me cause I don't wash it away any more
Join me now as we climb the walls

We didn't build this creepy city
We didn't choose that number
Just a number to errase
Dance with me past the dung
Trample the facade into better days

Time to make some noise now we have come of age
They have no choice but to eat the rage they planted
That bed of nails we don't have to lie in
Cause we're woke and this is not the time for sleep
