BAD LUCK FOR A DAY AND NIGHT

He walked into something late last night
The bruise now showing isn't a pretty sight
Got up late the following morning
The alarm clock didn't give a warning

How he wished he stayed in bed
Having a run of bad luck it has to be said
Burnt his toast for his morning meal
The commute into work was not ideal

He kept on hoping his luck would change
All this bad luck was so weird and strange
What else could go wrong he started to wonder
Looking outside he noticed it thunder
