The Balance of the Four Powers
Numbness arrival and all had succumb
He I enamored to be was me in entirety
The owl watched at low peak
As if for the first time he heard all words spoken
Truth flooded the streets as if levees broken
I want incense from my viewing tower
Fearless, the crow awaits straw-man's shoulder
Oh Lord count the days 'til I grow colder
An ancient Shaman ceremony draws us closer
and you don't even know
A flaming fox lives one door over
Manipulation of the beast comes second nature
Despite endless effort I will never hate her
The foxed romantics pain has grown as knowledge
Unleash, the hawk
Innocent circle turned attack in instant
The hawk's descent draws beauty from my pen
And ensures us four, elastic unison
I thank her for my realization of the owl
Though beach so late and morning fowl
Her kiss to forever haunt my ever present mind
How I wish to be called her name after a night so kind,
Sandy, to be cleansed.
