Poem -

Bambi

By Magic Bellmore, Queen of Chaos

Soft dusty fur,
Wide starry eyes,
Caution permeating every step they take,
Gentle tapered muzzle nibbling the plants beneath their hooves,
Crack,
Ears shoot up and calls of alarm echo across the herd,
Hundreds of pattering feet flee the open meadows,
Fawns stumbling in every few steps,
Stags herding them away from the danger,
Mothers cries of alarm as they lose sight of their young,
The grateful sigh of relief as they are reunited once again.

Gentle lull of rain that never hits the ground,
Instead turning into soft fluffy snow blanketing all in sight,
Wonder echoes throughout the forest as little ones discover what winter is,
Cautious steps on soft snow above the mud,
Out grazing on the open plains,
Bang!
Chaos roaming the plains,
Hunters among the leaves,
Raining blood and feathers from the sky,
Tears and screams as friends and family are taken by the bullet,
Running safely with mother,
Until she's gone never to be seen again,
Silent screams and tears wrack your body as you are forced to leave.

Proud mighty stag with his gorgeous eccentric doe,
Ruler of the forest,
King of kings,
Nothing he can't do,
Mother stays in his mind always,
Twins to love and the world at his antlers.

The fish of the sea

Hi Bell!!! Sorry just excited because long time no see, I really like your poem such a message of the wildness, it's so very engaging and thought-out. Its such a shame that time and time again, hunters and illegal smugglers destroy native wildlife, we barely notice it in modernity.... All the Best and Kind regards. The Fish of the Sea.

I have had a writers block for a while but suddenly I was inspired to write this, its nice to be back on and writing again though. It is so awful how many gorgeous animals are murdered daily for nothing important.  Thanks so much for your words.

I hope god gives all the animals guns when they get to heaven and sets them.on the hunters!
A beautifully descriptive write on.a sad theme my friend ?

I hope he does too but I don't think hunters will go to heaven. The devil can have their evil souls.
