Bamburgh castle

Bamburgh castle

Bamburgh castle, such a beautiful sight as I stand staring at shadowy silhouettes in the full moonlight.. I see big burly men with horned helmets and chainmails on the beach from dragon-headed longships with tall red and white sails

Viking warriors on a marauding spree running amok to the castle causing hassle and anxiety, kicking up the sand in a frenzied plight.. I can almost hear the bellows of the sea that night.. Ssssh as I blink my eyes.. gone is that vision of brutalize.. only the splendour of the exquisite seashore with Bamburgh castle my favourite picture I adore..for me there could never be a building so grand as this ancient castle from my homeland

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The painting up above is from a friend of mine, she has portrayed  Bamburgh castle in the moonlight so devine.. “Well done Olwen Foggon” I hope you don’t mind me mentioning your name.. but I love your artwork.. it should be in a hall of fame⭐️
