BANGING AND SCREAMING

Feel trapped in a corner and it's a square room
No way out is what I must surmise and presume
I bang on the walls and nobody else hears
Must be strong and fight back the tears

I stop banging and start to scream instead
People wouldn't care if I ended up dead
My screams go unnoticed like the banging before
Must keep calm as I try to turn the locked door

Banging and screaming doesn't do the trick
My mind and body both starting to be sick
Let me out I just want to have a carefree life
Must control my nerves as I reach for the knife
