BANGING AND SCREAMING

Feel trapped in a corner and it's a square room
No way out is what I must surmise and presume
I bang on the walls and nobody else hearsĀ
Must be strong and fight back the tearsĀ

I stop banging and start to scream insteadĀ
People wouldn't care if I ended up deadĀ
My screams go unnoticed like the banging before
Must keep calm as I try to turn the locked doorĀ

Banging and screaming doesn't do the trickĀ
My mind and body both starting to be sickĀ
Let me out I just want to have a carefree lifeĀ
Must control my nerves as I reach for the knife
