Walking along the banks of the Ohio we fell in love, I watched you from afar as you always walk along the banks of the river. Then one day I went and talked you on the banks of the Ohio and that is where we fell in love.  On the banks of the Ohio.   

I remember the first  time I seen you   walking in  your sun dress, with a smile that would  melt the hardest heart , you had you little sister with you and she doing her best  to  aggravate, you but  would just smile and laugh at her antic’s  along the banks of the Ohio .
