Battling

Battling

I'm tired of this battle,
Putting up my fists,
Just hoping I will make it,
This one thing as my wish.

It's always been a struggle,
The battle in the mind,
A constant source of turmoil,
Nowhere I cannot hide.

Why can't I just be normal,
To live a happy life,
Where troubles aren't surrounding,
Those things that give me strife.

I cry out to my Savior,
A call I pray He hears,
And ask Him to protect me,
This darkness that I fear.
