Be A Friend

Be A Friend

It never costs to be a friend
It's give and take until the end
Some times are hard but some are fun
The good times, only just begun

A call away on any day
True friends just know they'll find a way
With simple trust in who we are
A friendly word can go so far

Be kind then whilst we're here below
We all have faults, and far to go
Forgive each day and help friends grow
Some things, for sure, you'll never know

And come the end of this short life
With all the doubts and hatred rife
We'll be so glad, if in the end
We took the time to be a friend
