Poem -

Be My.....

Be my sunflower in a patch of dandelions.
My umbrella in a storm.
Be my silver lining in a rain cloud.
My light at the end of the tunnel.
Be my peaceful sanctuary.
My hideaway from the chaos outside.
Be my protector from what I cannot face alone.
My candle in the darkness of the unexpected.
Be my shoulder where tears are shed and smiles are hidden.
My reason for those genuine hideous laughs.
Be my force that tests my wild nature.
My guide out of my box of familiarity.
Be my ocean of serenity, tranquility and passion.
My pillow for hardships, tough times and the occasional nap.
Be my conscious for the fork in the road.
My honest angel amongst lying demons.
Be my hand to hold.
My brightest star shining in the universe.
Be my safe space.
My constant in the equation of life.
Be my true love in this world of hate.
My everything in a hole of nothingness.
Be my reassurance that everything will be okay.
My person.
