Poem -

Speak Not With Words

Words.
Miniscule, easily manipulated.
The honey running down an irritated throat.
The sugar encasing lip puckering candies.
Sweet ballerinas dancing across taste buds
Turned to demonic wenches, clawing for assurance.
Words.
A false means of hope.
Twisted into beautiful expression
Or a weak barrier for the worst to come.
Melodic harmonies played by cruel hands.
Darkness never lurking far behind.
Actions.
A test for the bravest of hearts.
For the warrior with a fierce mind.
With spontaneity coursing through their blood.
A true challenge disguised in oblivion,
Masked by simplicity.
Actions.
Stomach churning and comforting.
Mind boggling and clear cut.
A rose garden watered by tears and shone on by smiles.
May wither or bloom to the fullest.
Paved with the unknown and mystery.
Actions.
Words.
Words are a dance around fears; saying less as continued.
Actions say 1000 words, one shot; a powerful option indeed.

It's tricky. The meaning of words is subjected to the recipient's interpretation.
