BEAR WITH ME

 
Something got me thinking where it first came 
A saying like no other and puts others to shame
This comes into play when you are on hold 
If actually thought about you certainly would be cold 

Bear with me is the saying to which I refer
Can be said by a secretary or an entrepreneur 
Maybe it is said when you are in a long queue
Bear with me and I will soon be with you 

Please don't take this saying literally my friend 
You might cause embarrassment and may offend 
Hang on a sec is just one possible solution 
Try it next time you're waiting in a financial institution
