If the world stood still in silence
For even just one moment in time
To listen to the sound of the drum
Echoing across the nation's
Traveling the waves of the ocean
Whispering upon the winds of Times
Our beating hearts would unite
For we all are broken in some way
Each of us have had to fight
but why in a world so beautiful
is it we fight against each other
If only those walls were down
Would the tears stop falling
change can turn a frown to a smile
If we stood still even a little while
listening to everyone
Would we hear the sound of the drum
beating together one by one
United beneath the same dreams
removing the dust and debris
to be free to love each other
connecting our heart's in strength
and compassion
this war against each other
is growing old and out of fashion
let's not deny a hand to hold
near or far across the sea
to be closer to each other's
Soul sobriety,a healthier society
in the name of lady liberty
for all our justice
and for the entire world to have peace
make the anger cease, stop the killing
letting love reprieve
together we can breathe and together we
can fight for what's right
taking darker days away
worshipping once again the night
we all have scares
beneath these beautiful shinning stars
the world offers us to see
If only we were United
imagine how grand this life could be
One could hope it starts right here
with just one little me
begging this world so broken
in controversy
Stand with me in silence
stop the violence
take each other's hands with me
divided not by land and sea
together we shall bleed
for each other we should fight
to turn the world around
before God eternal turns out the light
We have time to do what's right
worshipping again those stars at night
filling the daylight hours with delight
to make a change and take a stand
in silence together United by hands

If the entire world stood in silence
together, we could hear the entire band

United like a drum, beating hearts as one

We don't have to always agree,

we can still appreciate
each other's diversity,

each person is unique,

is not fun and love
and peace a better goal to seek?
