BEAUTIFUL ROSE, MY ULI

BEAUTIFUL ROSE, MY ULI

BEAUTIFUL ROSE, MY ULI

Ricardo Antonio Garcia

Beautiful Rose

whose virtual stem rises strong

your independent color belies

there is a weakness

that bitterly hides, and

because I love you, I can sense you try

to never show your pains.

I wish I were as strong.

Beautiful Rose

whose paradise look and feel is blessed

brushing against the wind

as steamy shores midst your pedals

you smile in the Sun

but inside the pain is hurting you

and I think twice

of how your love is supreme.

Beautiful Rose

If just one day I carried the suffrages

and eliminated the aches

I would infuse the healing of God

pouring as a gentle rain

and caress and care for you always.

Be it the pain that clears

for how your love is divine.

Beautiful Rose

planetary flower of my heart

my Soul wanes in the wind

feeding on your love

as a farmer needing water to grow

the sustenance of his land.

The words I lay with my mouth

feed these enveloping tears.

Beautiful Rose, my Uli

I would give Heaven and Earth

to see you free of pain, and

only on God I call in this abyss

to swell away the tribulation

to swell away in relief.

My God, hear my voice

for I feel the rain is about to fall.

Beautiful Rose, my Uli …
