Poem -

beautiful tragedy

The moment
I glanced
my own reflection

Caught
In the madness

The affected tears
in my eyes

salt lingering
on my tongue

As they dive
towards the falling edge

The sorrow
On my face

I watch them
fall

I know they
hurt

but i can't
look anyway

They
intrigue me
Where does such salt Stay

awaiting
the heartache

Do they beg to fall
at all

The look
in my eyes

how they change colour
with the tears

But shine
like diamonds

Upon dusk

Reminiscent
To the night stars

Twinkling
they don't blink

They
can't hear me

Are they in pain
too

A beautiful
tragedy

Like a sunset
sky

Surrounded
By the sea

That lingering
salt

I wish
To hear the waves
Of the sea

They were
there

moments before
I witnessed

The madness

Within
All the falling

maybe the sea
Will return

around
my feet

If i look away
Will they still fall

Shall waves
rise up to greet

Maybe I'll stay here
Until the pain runs clear

If only heartache
In my eyes would rest

Maybe then
I could sleep.
