Beautiful Vision

For Fiona

Beautiful Vision

This is for an amazing friend that I met on here many moons ago. Unfortunately, she lost her sight as a young girl, yet she envisions the world in such a beautiful way and it touches my heart so deeply, and sometimes it seems that she can see better than I. She's an amazing, warm hearted young lady, and she would always tell me that I was the most beautiful writer in the world(I had her fooled!), but I never wrote a poem for her because I didn't want to hurt the girl I was dating(even though that didn't seem to matter to her), but I have always believed that you show your love that they are the most important thing in the world, above everything, not just a little part of the whole.
Anyway, this is for you, my little Fif. I hope you continue to see the world in your beautiful way forever. All my love, Matthew.

She sees the world through emerald eyes
As giving as God's brilliant skies
She saw my heart as if she knew
The origin of His finest hue

She sees a world of diamond themes
A vision of eternal streams
An elegance acutely clear
A visage only she can hear

She sees a land of bright citrine
Of sunlight in Angelic scene
A beauty mortals couldn't bear,
To look upon the brilliance there

Someday I wish to see her face
To glimpse her heart's eternal grace
Through gems that I can just surmise
The grandeur of unseeing eyes.

I suspect she may wish to see yours too, sounds to me like a beautiful union of friendship just because people are blind it doesn't mean they cannot see, it's just in different ways. Beautiful.

What a beautiful response Shirley. You hit it right on the head, her vision of life is gorgeous. Tina remembers her. I still talk to her on email, so hopefully she'll like it.
Thank you Shirley.

Hello Matthew...

Yours is my Second citrine today...

You say she's posted here?

I'm not familiar with her?

Can her writes still be seen?

It's not a surprise one bit you would fall for someone like her...

If she's taken...

Maybe, she didn't know someone cared so much and ishould have been able to be a choice especially, if she's not in the right situation she just thinks it's the best she could do at the time...

Maybe, she's alone and...

Will just say...

YES!

Good Luck!

Best wishes and blessings!

Beautiful write!

Thank you for sharing...

Hello Lovely Sparrow.
Yes, it was quite a few years ago, and she didn't post a lot because it was hard for her, not being able to see, but she never let that bother her, and is just one of the sweetest people I've ever talked to. I think she is taken, but she never really talked about him. She talked about her beautiful walks around the woods and stuff, and her doggie(and she always asked about mine), and about writing. I'm not sure how her relationship is, but I'm not one to interfere in other's relationships, but I would absolutely LOVE to meet her some day, and I'll let God figure out the rest.
Thank you so much for your beautiful comment, you're so nice.
Have a tremendous day!

Matthew.

You truly are. And thank you for the compliment on my writing, lol(see how much friendship means over writing, lol).
