Beauty and the Devil

The calm before the storm
That comes afterwards too
The thunderous skies turn to blue
The rough, violent seas
Turn from white waves to calm
No one hurt this time
No harm done

The gusts of the wind
Have stripped the trees bare
The once laden branches
Now empty without a care
The lashing of the rain
Cut deep into the ground
The beauty of the green grass
No where to be found

The wonder of nature
The beauty it holds
Can change in a second
Then the devil beholds
Funny some say....
The correlation with life
In all of us there is beauty
And a devil that hides
