BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

SHE IS A GODDESS IN THE EYES OF MEN,
YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL, A NATURAL TEN,
WELL SPOKEN, WITH A STEADY HEAD,
BUT IS TRANSFORMED INTO A BEAST
WHEN SHE FORGET TO TAKE HER MEDS.

RIGHT BEFORE YOUR EYES,
THIS CALM SEA,
BECOMES WAVES OF DEATH,
FROM HER BEAUTIFUL LIPS,
PROFANITY RIDES HER BREATH.

MENTAL ILLNESS IS A KILLER OF THE BRAIN,
JUST THE SHAKING OF A LEAF,
CAN DRIVE ONE INSANE.

LOVE ONES ARE LEFT CRIPPLED WITH FEAR
LIVING THIS REAL LIFE DRAMA
THAT MENTAL ILLNESS BRINGS.

WILFORD BARKER.

So true my friend, I am aware that I have only scratch the surface of this illness.
but it’s a very sad and scary thing to see play out in the streets of my neighborhood..
all ages and races of people affected by this disease.. one minute having a pleasant conversation..
then the next…. SNAP like a dry twig, talking out of their minds and becoming a Danger to themselves and others.

Absolutely!  It really can affect anyone at any time. We know how creative the human mind can be at the best of times so when a mind gets poorly ...well ... hold on to your hats! Thank goodness, with proper treatment and support network it can be helped or even cured x
