A BEAUTY TO BEHOLD (Facebook Queen)

A BEAUTY TO BEHOLD (Facebook Queen)

A BEAUTY TO BEHOLD

Ricardo Antonio Garcia

Oh Facebook Queen

who hides behind the art of others

whose face is rinsed

by the beauty of other eyes and lips.

Where are you

and where is your golden mask

among this arcade of airbrushed divinities?

Must we taste

the woman you are from afar

whose illusionary appearance is nothing but a fog?

Oh Facebook Queen

whose words is angelic prose

who hides in the obscurity of appearance

and sits besides the ornaments

of things on the outside who are living.

Poets attaché themselves

By the proxy of their works liquidity

and in these manifestations

the Light of ‘your eyes’ calls out.

Be you old or be you young

the honorable design of your face

speaks as the volumes

labored in the intensity of your strife.

Juggling phrases of words

that make no sense to anyone, we fight

with the principle of self.

Shall we understand you better

by the gleam of your aura abounding?

Attachments of the face

sometimes speaks forlorn without words

as the desperate cries of a sparrow

benefits your wholesome Soul in tomorrow.

I shall gasp upon your unveiling

a beauty to behold
