Bedside Table

Oh, Bedside table of green marble grace, a sanctuary where my soul finds its place. Upon your surface, a tapestry of me. In each object, a verse of my symphony. Cucumbers rest, a cool and soothing balm, echoing the freshness of a tranquil calm.
With petals of fresh flowers, vibrant and bright, a reminder of beauty in the darkest nights. Beside them lie my sleep medication’s embrace, a tender promise of rest, a gentle grace. And nestles close, my headphones wait. A melody of solace in the hour late. And atop it all, my poetry book reclines, a companion in solitude. In its lines each word a whisper, echoes of my essence etched in a refrain.
Bedside table, you are my sanctuary, a love letter to myself, a testament to me. A reflection of myself , resplendent in youth. So here i stand with gratitude and grace, for my bedside table, my comfort place.

Moira,

an ode to myself.
