The Beginning Of

This new day turns the
Page to a new life.
A life where we are
What we want.
A year of new beginning,
To a never ending edge.
Where days go by like  
A turn of a switch.
A switch that is intangible,
Not to the eyes,
Not to the skin.
With a blink of an eye 
The new day begins 
While yesterday becomes history 
That is unchangeable. 
Believing we are less than we are,
Knowing only death comes after life.
