Poem -

No Way Out

Hidden between two pages of my book
Lies the most devastating truth
A truth that cuts deeper by the word
Everything I ever thought has come
Ripping apart the past and destroying the future
Taking a hold of every beating heart and crushing
Pouring down its hand is what life was meant to be
With every drip a last goodbye
That was meant to live

hey, Kelly, solid work, the poem left me with the feeling of wanting more words, such an emotional pull, even with so few words, it's a very sad poem, so much regret, and longing, and it seems ironic that I want more of it, always good when a reader wants  more, cheers
