Being away

I know it is hard when I’m away.

I’ll be home soon and with you to stay.

Coming home will be like it was at the start.

You remember the flutters we felt in the heart.

Although at the beginning it was just you and I.

Now we have to include our little guy.

 Our lives will be great when I get home.

Never again will you be alone.

It will be the 3 of us every day.

Nothing will ever break us away.

So hold onto the memories of the times we have had.

Soon we’ll have many more to add.

The love I feel each and every day.

Distance and time could never take it away.

My feelings are strong they don’t miss a beat.

 Being home with you both will be so sweet.
