by no definition am I weak

my enemy's look at me and see me meek

but the mouse is mightiest when cornered

I live life by my own definition

following my strong ambition

seeking only recognition

I walk forward in stride

with hope by my side

and wonder what the world holds for me next

tip toe my dreams they are my guide

I take this path and wonder why

I'm so different from everyone else

what is it about me that makes me unique

a individual so defined by myself that everyone else

looks at me with such curiosity

I am me defined by my own actions

I am me and choose to do what to me feels right

never again will I let another decide for me
