Believe Beyond

Believe beyond the here and now
For more is there than we'll allow
Into our restless, changing lives
Whilst peace and joy still reigns and thrives

We have to let some goodness in
Our little hopes might never win
So letting go from time to time
Could help our cause to strangely climb

Because we try too hard, you know
The world around will ebb and flow
And what we do may bring surprise
Not all we'd planned, but let's be wise

The life beyond the every-day
Is not for all, I have to say
But have respect for mystery, friend
Some believe beyond and greatness send
