Belongings

It's so bizarre, the things that come to hold value over time...

The mundane things that travel with us through the decades

The reminisce...

A random out of focus photograph, the only evidence of an old friend long missed

A seashell collected by your now grown child while on family holiday

The melancholy...

A faded patch of flower power cloth your mum once used to iron over your school uniform

A ribbon from an event you performed in at a time when you were more agile

The sentimental...

A screw driver with rod of a durable alloy that they don't make anymore

An aftershave bottle of your grandfathers, with none of the scent remaining but in your memory bank

The nostalgic...

A lone costume earring last seen with its twin on your honeymoon

A broken garden pot from the days before you downsized
