Beloved Mankind

Dear God, I do not doubt thee
But I would just want to know these;
Why some must be born blind?
While others with sight, but get blind along the way in life.
Could it be the way of life that is so unfavourable to humanity?
Or must these also happen
For thy Glorification?
Mankind your beloved are suffering.
The poor grow poorer,
As the rich elevates richer.
And Thou seem to be awoken always
But it’s as if Thou take no note of them.
Where do Thou reside, and where is Thy residence?
Could it be in the blazing sun?
For present mankind has made all possible efforts
Even in their imperfect state to see
Thy face like times of Eli.
Perhaps just to ask Thee with a much
Sincerity of heart to forgive
The generation of Adam.
And at least grant the poorer, a taste of richness
The over rich a fair taste of poverty
The sick a taste of good health
The blind a taste of good sight.
Even if these wishes could not be granted
For a life time, at least just for a while
For Mankind your beloved are suffering.

Greetings Fayeampah,
Very well written, is this poem and the sorrow, that drips from this poem, is only matched by the compassion rendered, in the ink expelled, from the pen, that dropped it, on this white canvass...
Great job,
JimÂ

Greetings Fayeampah,
Quite welcome dear sir are you and thank you as well, for the return comment...Hope all is well and glad you are back and keep writing, "we love reading.." Jim.
Fayeampah colli...,
This poem is  realistic in its sketch/portrait. Excellent narration and questioning. To survive, we have to ask questions, and wait for answers to drop down until your final day. But a day will come with answers for your questions. We are living only to learn how to ask questions, The answers are ready with someone. You have to wait...that is your life ultimately. God Bless...
Regards, Love, Faith and gratitude,
WILLIAMSJI MAVELI
