Poem -

Beneath God's Rod

I stand errack
In tirelessly flawed
Easily distracted
My errors bold and loud

Facing the wind
Come what may
Not disturb from within
What life ask, ready to pay

Accused of self
Far more than by others
Encouraged by rights
Offered by Mothers

Knowing the worth of tears
Even if inward and silent
Or tucked away from cheers
As if irrelevant.

My name, flag to my word
My faith testimony to my God
While my back frame to work
My walk ever beneath His rod
