Best Friends

Best Friends

Some say you can only have one

Truth is, without you three; I wouldn’t have as much fun

First came Chris, Jose, and Sheldon last

We would walk together every day to class

We were the best dressed, always stayed fresh

And never gave the teacher a rest

This is our clique

Around us your skin needs to be thick

Because you’re bound to get clowned

When we’re just hanging around

Remember back in Park View

Who would have knew

Most popular in our class

But we barely passed

Too focused on a fat ass

Never on credentials

Don't forget how we used to drop our pencils

And have the other pick it up

Us in the same class...

A teacher's dumb luck

It is clear

No matter the situation it was better with you there

We would even make detention fun

I remember you were there when I first held a gun

And when the cops came how fast we would run

We know each other’s secrets and never judged

But were always there to give each other that nudge

Thank you for being there

At all of my fights after school

And putting me back in my place when I would act a fool

Are you aware...?

It is said true friendship is rare

A statement I believe to be true

How lucky I am to have met the three of you

Hanging with you I always laugh so much

I hope you know you three are my crutch

Our friendship will continue to grow everyday

Knowing you three have my back makes everything seem ok

Sometimes it’s hard being away

I miss you guys more everyday

You make my world a better place

None of you could be replaced
