Other Countries have fought against us...
You stood by our side in the past and you're still with us now...
Canada, you were my Dad's birth place...
He had me in the US...
Our flags fly side by side...
Best Friends Canada...

My Dad was from Nova Scotia and he would tell many stories about where he grew up and how he would skate to school everyday in the winter...
He would tell me stories of his Mom and my Parents gave me her name for my middle name and it's the middle name for many of the girls in the family...

My family and I tried to go back and visit family when I was 12 years old...
Our car broke down in Montreal and by the time it was fixed we had to go back home and I haven't been back since...
Before that I was toddler when we went and I don't remember...
The last time I talked to anyone there was over 25 years ago...
My address book was stolen with some other stuff and just lost touch...

I know a gal in Vancouver...
