BeTwEeN TWO WHITE WHITE DOORS
And in that house of anguish
and on the landing in the light
between two doors two white
white doors
and all on no man's shores
and five of all the seven there
were not at all, all old
there, questions with no
answers asked
by two with dreams gone cold
and tears many tears ran
brave so brave, for tears can
and scaredy cats with soft toys stare
on landings on the top top
stair
and hearts can split in twos
and fours
on landings between
white white doors
and of the seven none were
bold
and five were young
and two were old
and all were sad
and one was bad and one was not for saving
and questions with no answers
known
and who would stay and which would go
and all between those white white doors
which slammed now open
slammed now closed
and six who stood on no
man's shores
on landings light between two
doors
and of the six, one on the floor
for she was not for saving
